  • Slough Mencap gives it’s members the confidence and practical help they need to live their lives to the full, and provide respite for their carers.

  • Provide an opportunity for members and their carers to meet, give mutual support to one another and work collectively for the benefit of themselves and the community they live in.

  • Raise awareness about learning disabilities in the Slough region and encourage a spirit of understanding and inclusiveness among local people.

  • Work with partner organisations to provide better services for people with learning disabilities.

Slough Mencap has been wonderful in supporting our daughter through difficult times. To see her smile is priceless
