YOUNG CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

Slough Borough Council voted Bryn as the young citizen of the year because of her dedication as a volunteer at Slough Mencap. She attends regularly to work with people with learning disabilities. She is a joy and the whole place lights up when she comes into the club.

Nigels Birthday & Anniversary

We all joined in to help celebrate with Katy and Nigel anniversay and birthday bash. Lots of cake and goodies shared amongst happy members, then joined by disco fever and karaoke to round up the evening. Must be said it was a major success…. well done Nigel

Whoopie!!! They were the winners……… Etch – a social enterprise setup by senior female students at Herschel High Scool, who went on to win first prize in the interschools competition. The team selected Slough Mencap as their charity to receive the profit from their enterprise. Weekly a group of girls from etch enterprise come to Slough Mencap to help at...
